Kai Trump may have politics in his family, but don’t expect her to get into it.

At 18, President Donald Trump’s granddaughter will play college golf next fall at the University of Miami and recently made her debut on the LPGA Tour in November.

Trump hopes to turn professional one day, but one thing that seems certain is that he won’t enter politics later in life.

“To be honest, I stay completely away from politics. I would never run, I don’t want anything to do with politics,” Trump said during an appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast. “I feel like politics is a very dangerous thing and I think if both sides met in the middle, everyone would be a lot happier.”

Trump said people have become “too extreme” on both sides of the coin, and social media has led people to focus on their beliefs.

“There’s not a lot of things on social media where you’re in the middle of it. And I think that drives some people crazy and some people believe it too much,” Trump added. “I think that’s the best way to put it. There’s no hard feelings. I’m very much in the middle and pretty much, it is what it is. They turned on each other. [Trump and Kamala Harris]. Obviously, I’m going to support my grandfather, my family member, but that’s it.”

The closest Trump waded into political waters was when he spoke at the Republican National Convention just days after his grandfather was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania.

In an interview with News Digital in October, Trump said she was “proud” of her grandfather after he brokered the historic ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
