Karoline Leavitt suggests Democrats are fair
Carolina Leavitt Maybe she’s watched “Mean Girls” too many times, because she’s been looking a lot like Regina George lately.
The White House press secretary suggested Tuesday on News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime” that all the people who complain about the President donald trump demolishing part of the White House building a fancy $250 million ballroom are simply “jealous” and “fake.”

“Are Democrats jealous that Trump is building this big, beautiful ballroom?” Watters asked Leavitt on his show Tuesday.
Leavitt responded by saying that it “certainly seems that way.”
“I think there’s a lot of false outrage right now because almost every president who has lived in this beautiful White House behind me has done their own modernizations and renovations,” he said.

“He’s done it his whole life, his whole career. Construction is a process; in the end, the east wing, which is a completely separate structure from the executive mansion you see behind me, will be more modern and beautiful than ever,” Leavitt said.
“And on top of that, the White House will have a big, beautiful ballroom for generations of Americans to come, and best of all, it won’t be a dime of taxpayer money.”

Leavitt, who has a very sophisticated sense of humor, said that for decades presidents have “joked” about how they would like to have a larger event space in the White House. “That can hold hundreds more people than the current East Room and State Dining Rooms.”
“In fact, President Obama notably complained that during his time in office he had to make a state visit on the South Lawn and get a very expensive tent,” Leavitt said. “So while many presidents have privately dreamed about this, it’s President Trump who is actually doing something about it.”

“As we all know, in India some of life’s most precious moments are often celebrated under the cover of a beautiful tent. It’s a little like tonight,” Obama said at the time during his toast.
It is unclear which alleged complaint Leavitt was referring to. News themezone has reached out to Obama for comment.
Although Trump’s White House renovations have received a good amount of rejection from the publicimages of the east wing being demolished for its ballroom are particularly disturbing, especially because Trump initially said “will not interfere with the current building.”
“It’s hard to see that” “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough said. “And it’s hard to believe that any president could destroy the White House and tear down such a historic existing structure.”
“It’s not his house. It’s his house,” former first lady and Secretary of State Hilary Clinton said in a post on X. “And he’s destroying it.”
