Keira Knightley reveals that she
Keira Knightley doesn’t love seeing herself on screen. So much so, that the actor has not even seen some of his films.
The “Bend It Like Beckham” actor appeared on BBC Radio 2’s “The Scott Mills Breakfast Show” on Monday, where he discussed the difference between filming a movie and a fan’s relationship with said movie.
“The wonderful thing about those movies is that they have become people’s favorites and they watch them over and over again,” he said. “Either I haven’t seen them, or I’ve only seen them once, because it’s not a particularly pleasant experience to see your own face.”
“I’ve only seen ‘Love Actually’ once,” Knightley said of the 2003 film. “I saw it at the premiere and I’d never seen it.” [since]. I think I was 18 years old. Then, over 20 years ago, I saw ‘Love Actually.’”
Mills then asked the actor if he had ever seen “Pirates of the Caribbean,” the hit franchise in which he appeared four times.

“I’ve never seen the third one,” Knightley said. “I saw the second one at the premiere, but I never saw the third.”
The actress explained her position on skipping the third, telling Mills, “I feel like there’s too much face.”
“Very close up, big face,” he joked. “Nobody needs to see that.”
Some people, including Knightley’s co-star in the film, Orlando Bloom, might disagree.
Bloom recently said that he would like to see the entire cast return for another film in the series, although Knightley doesn’t seem all that interested.
“You know, I think my hacking days are over,” he told People magazine on the red carpet in September. “I think I definitely spent a lot of years doing that and, you know, it was amazing and I’m really glad to have been a part of it, but I suspect my swashbuckling days are over.”
