Kelly Clarkson suspends Las Vegas residence due to former husband
Kelly Clarkson postpone his residence in Las Vegas to be “completely present” for his two children.
“While I normally maintain my personal life in private, last year, my children’s father has been sick and at this time, I need to be completely present for them,” he said in an Instagram post on Wednesday, and added that “sincerely laments all those who bought tickets for shows.”
“I really appreciate his grace, kindness and understanding,” Clarkson said in his firm.
Clarkson and her ex -husband, Brandon Blackstock, share two children: River Rose, 11, and Remington Alexander, 9.
The two were married for almost seven years before dividing in 2020.
Clarkson did not explain Blackstock’s disease.

Last month, Clarkson was under fire for canceling the debut show of his residence in Las Vegas only a few hours before she was ready to get on stage.
“The preparation and essays have affected my voice,” said the singer “since you have gone.”
“I want the shows to be perfect for everyone and I need to protect myself from doing serious damage, so I’m taking this weekend and next week to rest so we can deliver what everyone deserves,” said Clarkson.
The “American Idol” star was also remarkably absent from its interview program earlier this year, although it never gave a reason why I was outside.
