Kelly Clarksson canceled her debut in Las Vegas at the last minute, and fans are furious

Kelly Clarkson told fans that he is “devastated” after canceling the debut show of his Las Vegas residence just a few hours before he was ready to act.

“We have been working 24/7 to make the study sessions the most intimate and extraordinary experience and for my incredible fans,” Clarkson said in a statement published in his Instagram account on Friday. “I am more than grateful that it always appears for me and I am devastated for having to postpone tonight and tomorrow’s opening in Caesars.”

“The preparation and essays have affected my voice,” said “American Idol”, while explaining why he had to cancel the program.

“I want the shows to be perfect for everyone and I need to protect myself from doing serious damage, so I’m taking this weekend and next week to rest so we can deliver what everyone deserves,” said Clarkson.

She described the program as “truly incredible” and added that “musicians and singers are outstanding.”

“I can’t wait to return next weekend and show you what we’ve been working on,” added the singer “since you have gone.”

Clarkson’s Instagram comments section was a mixed bag, since some praised the singer for taking the time he needed to rest his voice and concentrate on his health. Other fans, who had already flown to Las Vegas to see Clarkson act, were less happy.

Clarksson is not the first singer to cancel only hours before his debut in Las Vegas, since Adele waves in 2022 for postponing all his residence in Las Vegas only 24 hours before his first show began.
