Paris – Kim Kardashian took the witness position on Tuesday in the JUDGMENT ON THE ARMED HAND ROBO 2016 in which a masked gang went with $ 10 million in his jewels while visiting the French capital. Kardashian testified that a gang member attracted her to him while in a bathing gown.

“I was sure that this was the time I was going to rape,” Kardashian said. “I absolutely thought I was going to die,” he added.

“I thought about my sister, I thought I would enter and see me dead and have that memory in her forever,” he told the Court, according to the Reuters news agency.

Kardashian testified that the robbery occurred around 3 in the morning at his hotel. He was in bed about to fall asleep when he listened to people to trample the stairs and then enter his room with police uniforms.

Kardashian said that once they entered his suite, the masked thieves pointed a gun.

“Then I listened to one of the gentlemen to say strongly: ‘Ring! Ring!’ In English, with an accent, pointing out, “he told the Court, according to Reuters, apparently referring to the $ 4 million diamond ring that his then husband Kanye West gave him, now known as Ye. The couple formed for divorce In 2022.

“It was at the end of the bed, so he grabs my leg and throws me into the bed so that the gown is open and everything is exposed,” Kardashian said. “And that was the time I thought I would rape me. But he ended up tying me and closed my legs.”

During Tuesday’s testimony, Kardashian also told one of the defendants who forgave him after a letter of apology in the court was read.

In the Central Court of Paris, where the trial is carried out, there were intense security measures and crowd control. The court opened early to allow journalists and public access members before Kardashian’s afternoon.

Flanked by four bodyguards, Kardashian entered the Palace of Justice for the rear entrance. While riding the stone steps, he turned, took off his dark sunglasses and smiled at the multitude of fans, curious passers -by and press photographers.

Dressed in black, with her hair up in a chignón, the celebrity was accompanied by her mother, Kris Jenner.

The hearing is not transmitted publicly, since France rarely allows cameras in court. Some 400 reporters requested to attend the trial, but there were only 40 places assigned for the media within the courtroom. A side room for 200 more journalists was established to see a live broadcast from inside the courtroom.

Kardashian lawyers He said he was determined to testify In person on the night, she was supposedly tied and stolen at gunpoint while she was in Paris for Fashion Week. Ten people, nine men and one woman, face positions that include theft and kidnapping against the personality of the US media and the janitor of the residence where the night of October 2, 2016 was staying.

Before the celebrity took the position herself, her former friend turned into a stylist Simone Herouche told the court on Tuesday that she listened to Kardashian begging for her life during the attack in the hotel suite they were sharing.

“‘I have babies and I need to live!’ That is what she continued by saying: ‘Take everything. ” I thought the worst. “

The prosecutors told the Court that when the gang, dressed as police officers, arrived at the hotel of luxury suites known only as “the direction of no” where Kardashian stayed, they demanded that the janitor, at the tip of gun, guide them to “the wife of the rapper”, a reference to his then husband.

In interviews and in his family’s reality show, Kardashian described to be terrified during the intrusion, thinking that he was going to be raped and killed.

“They dragged me to the hall at the top of the stairs, it was when I saw the weapon, as clear as the day,” he said in his program “Keep up with the Kardashians,” he added: “It bothers me a lot to think about it.”

The thieves, some of which escaped on bicycles, have been qualified as “grandparents’ thieves” like most suspects were in their 60 years at the time of the robbery.

While they fled, they dropped a diamond and platinum cross that was found the next morning by a local resident. The rest of the tour has not been recovered.

The DNA of two of the defendants was found in the scene, and have admitted to having participated in the theft. Aomar Ait Khedache, now 69, is accused of making master’s purposes. Known as “Old Omar,” according to the reports, he told researchers that he had no idea who Kardashian was, but had heard a friend of a waiter about the incredible jewels he used when he was having dinner in Paris.

Khedache wrote to Kardashian in 2017, while he was in custody, to apologize, the judge said in the case on Tuesday. His lawyers said he wrote after he heard her talk about how traumatic experience had been.

“I want to tell humans how my actions regret and how they moved me to see you cry,” said the judge who wrote Khedache, according to BBC News. “… I regret the pain I caused you, your husband, your children and those who love you.”

When asked if he had an answer for Khedache, Kardashian, who had cleaned his nose, said he was excited and that the test changed his life. She also noticed her Defense work in the criminal justice system.

“I appreciate the letter safe. I appreciate it, I forgive you,” he said, according to the BBC. “But the emotion, feelings and trauma and the way in which my life has changed.”

Yunis Abbas, 71, has admitted that he acted as a gang guard. In court on April 29, he said “total regret” on the other hand in the robbery. He said he understood after that: “When you steal a lady’s bag, it can be traumatic” for her.

A police officer who testified for the Prosecutor’s Office told the Court that Kardashian appeared “traumatized” after theft.

The lawyers of some of the defendants expressed concern when the trial opened last month that Kardashian’s fame would distract from the essentials of the case.

Chloe Arnoux, who represents Khedache, told reporters: “In fact, he is quite concerned with seeing all of you, journalists, because he fears that his case is not treated in the same way as if there were no person such famous involved in him.”

Kardashian’s lawyer, Michael Rhodes, said in April that the reality shows and businessman had “a tremendous appreciation and admiration for the French judicial system” and “wishes that the trial proceed in an orderly manner in accordance with the French law and with respect to all parties in the case.”
