Luke, President Donald Trump’s 8-year-old grandson, is keeping things very on-brand for his family this spooky season, according to his mother, Lara Trump.

On Wednesday’s episode of her podcast “Right View with Lara Trump,” the president’s daughter-in-law answered a listener’s question about her family’s plans for Halloween this year.

After revealing that she and her 6-year-old daughter, Carolina, were going to play Rumi in Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters,” Lara Trump said Luke had opted for something different and “very interesting,” while still true to her family’s priorities.

“He decided about a month ago,” he recalled. “He’s like, ‘I know what I want to be for Halloween.’ I was like, ‘Great. Give me the order so I can do this.’ He said, ‘I’m going to be money.'”

“That’s right. Yeah. I mean, do you think this is Donald Trump’s grandson?” she continued. “My son, Luke, is going to have money.”

Lara Trump, who is married to the president’s son, Eric Trump, didn’t share many details about her son’s costume, other than noting that it “looks like a giant $100 bill.”

Her son’s choice of costume isn’t particularly surprising given the family’s well-documented business dealings.

A Reuters report published earlier this week noted that Eric Trump and his brother, Donald Trump Jr., had helped boost the Trump Organization’s revenue this year to about $864 million, up from $51 million in 2024, through multiple investments.

Meanwhile, Lara Trump has focused on more artistic pursuits. The aspiring vocalist has released several singles, including a widely panned cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down,” which she performed at her father-in-law’s golf club in Westchester, New York, earlier this year.

Earlier this month, she made headlines for volunteering to perform on next year’s “All American Halftime Show,” hosted by Turning Point USA, the right-wing political group founded by slain activist Charlie Kirk.

The MAGA-themed show is intended to be an alternative to the Super Bowl halftime show, which will be headlined by Latin superstar Bad Bunny. The NFL’s selection of Bad Bunny, who performs predominantly in Spanish and has criticized the Trump administration’s crackdown on immigrants, has angered many conservatives.

When asked who she would like to see perform on the “All American Halftime Show,” Lara Trump named country artists Chris Janson and Chris Stapleton before finally suggesting herself.

“Imagine how upset people on the left would be if something like that happened,” he said. “It kind of makes me want to offer. I haven’t been asked, but I’m going to offer it right now! So let’s see what happens.”
