Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are one of the most low profile couples in Hollywood.

The two are so calm that they decided to give up a wedding when they married in 2014.

“In sets and in life, I have been able to wear a costumes and give a brand and say lines, and I didn’t want it to feel like that,” Meester said in an interview with Bustle, published on Wednesday. “I wanted him to feel intimate and private.”

But in case maybe it was too cold, Meester expressed his answer.

“I am an actor,” said Meester, who starred in “Gossip Girl” from 2007 to 2012. “So I appreciate attention.”

The couple recently celebrated a decade of marriage, and Brody shared an idea of ​​what makes their marriage work.

“Choose someone good. Be lucky and be in love with someone who is great and then just listen”, the star of “Nobody wants this” shared during an appearance in the “Today” program in 2024.

“If you are with someone great, you are in third base,” said Brody, who starred in “The OC” in the 2000s. “It’s not that sacrifice and humility are not needed, and you have to grow together and you must be willing to grow, because you will not be able to stay 100 percent right where you are. But if you are with someone wonderful, I think you are on the third base.”

Brody also memorably shouted his wife: and the two children of the couple, while receiving the Critics Choice of 2025 for the best actor of a comedy series for his role in “Nobody wants this” from Netflix.
