MAGA Influencer Burned to Pieces Over Embarrassing White House Selfie Video: Grow The F**k Up
MAGA influencer Benny Johnson once again sucked up to President Donald Trump, this time for moving former President Barack Obama’s official portrait from a prominent spot in the White House to a less visible spot at the top of the Grand Staircase.
The 38-year-old YouTuber, who had previously referred to the MAGA leader as “dad,” showed off the new location Tuesday in a selfie video that critics are calling “shameful” and “shameful.”
Johnson posted a video on X with the following text: “Everyone needs to see what Trump has done with Obama’s portrait in the White House.”
Looking directly into the camera, he says in the video: “Funniest thing Trump has done with Barack Obama’s portrait, look at this.”
Johnson then turned to the rear camera and panned around the Grand Foyer, where Obama’s portrait was prominently displayed until last year, and walked up the stairs to show off its new location, apparently hidden from the thousands of daily White House visitors.
Since then, critics have criticized the influencer for enjoying “high school drama” and criticized him as “a bit of a jerk” for applauding the removal of the portrait, with one user pointing out that Trump is 79 years old but “acts like a petulant child” for continuing to mock Obama.
“Grow up, damn it,” they concluded.
Johnson attended St. Patrick’s Day festivities at the White House with his wife, chronicled the trip with his “Irish girl” in a separate video, and posted a third video showing them eating an “Irish spread” and toasting glasses of Guinness.

Johnson, who was fired from BuzzFeed in 2014 after a review of his work at the outlet identified at least 40 cases of plagiarism, agreed last year with former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and argued that the United States should not interfere in the affairs of foreign countries.
Trump also replaced former President Joe Biden’s portrait with a photo of a automatic pen, a probe into his predecessor’s reported use of technology while in office, and ordered a series of plaques insulting former presidents to be placed on the walls.
Johnson is now receiving some criticism for mocking Obama.
