Marjorie Taylor Greene: Trump
Marjorie Taylor Greene addresses the elephant, or rather the sycophants, in the room.
On Monday, the former Republican legislator called out those in his party who remain silent after the president donald trump attacked the representative Thomas Massie‘s (R-Ky.) wife— one more time.
“All the weak House Republicans remain silent and refuse to utter even a word of support for their ‘friend’ Thomas Massie,” Greene wrote on social media. “Shame on each of you. Cowards. You make me sick.”

That same day, Trump published a post on his platform Truth Social in which he accused the Kentucky Republican’s new wife, Carolyn Moffa Massie, of being “a ‘flamethrower’ of the radical left,” which in MAGA parlance are fighting words.
Massie’s first wife and “high school sweetheart”, Rhonda Howard Massie, died in June 2024, and Massie married Moffa in October 2025.
Trump has been irritated with Massie for quite some time be one of several “stupid” Republicans who joined a petition to force a vote on the release of Jeffrey Epstein’s files. So the president, who has been married three times, has been trying to upset Massie by attacking his new wife and the speed of their union.

“People say Thomas Massie became a liberal because his new wife, bless their marriage, is supposedly a ‘flamethrower’ of the radical left.” Trump wrote in Truth Social Monday. “This new union was all so fast that maybe he didn’t know what he was getting into, but yet he is an absolutely terrible and untrustworthy ‘Republican’.”
After backup Ed Gallrein to fill Massie’s Kentucky seatTrump claimed that Massie “has been totally disloyal to the president of the United States and the Republican Party.”
“He never votes for us, he always goes with the Democrats,” Trump said. “Thomas Massie is a complete and utter disaster, we need to make sure he loses, BIG!”
In response, Massie took Trump’s bait and He defended his wife in a post Monday.

Although Massie’s fellow Republicans defended him the last time Trump tried to burn his wife, they’ve been pretty quiet this time around. Her silence led Greene to not only defend Massie but also warn her former colleagues about being too loyal to Trump.

“Thomas Massie votes with the president 91% of the time,” Greene wrote on Monday X, “but he won’t vote to protect Epstein’s sick rapist and pedophile friends.”
He continued: “The president should care more about the voters, who put him in office, like Thomas Massie’s wife, not about super-rich donors and their favorite foreign countries and their corporate demands.”
Greene went on to suggest that instead of hurling petty insults at a lawmaker and his wife, Trump should focus his energy on the recent Democratic victory in the state Senate in the “super red districts” of Texas.
