Michael Boltons children noticed these strange symptoms before the diagnosis of parents’ brain cancer
Michael Bolton’s family began to notice “strange” symptoms in the days before the singer was diagnosed with brain cancer.
His daughter Taryn told People Magazine that family members realized Bolton’s behavior when she was playing bowling.
Bolton withdrew from the shift three times during an excursion at the end of 2023, Taryn behavior would describe as “super strange.”
“That was when we were like, ‘something is wrong with his brain,” Taryn shared, in an article published on Wednesday. “Everything that happened was strange to him, but not very alarming. When they look back all together … we lost many things.”
Taryn said the family noticed other moments outside the characters before night, even before they turned.
“He fell from his chair to the left, which is very unusual. It’s super athletic and doesn’t drink,” Taryn said. “Then he fell, and we thought, ‘What just happened?'”

After experiencing a bad headache, Bolton went to the hospital and underwent a magnetic resonance that showed that he had a tumor.
After removing the tumor, doctors confirmed that the singer had glioblastoma, a type of cancer that grows rapidly and is more common in older adults.
The now 72 -year -old announced publicly in January last year that he had undergone surgery to eliminate a brain tumor, which forced him to cancel the next shows.

“Now I am recovering at home and surrounded by the tremendous love and support of my family,” said the singer at that time. “For the next two months, I will dedicate my time and energy to my recovery, which means that I will have to take a temporary rest of the tour.”
Grammy’s winner, who is now free from cancer, told People Magazine that “succumbing to the challenge is not an option.”
“They really quickly attract you a duel,” he said. “I suppose that is the way you discover what you are done.”
