Miley Cyrus Tells Jimmy Kimmel Her Most Joke-Worthy Dislike, Then Realizes
Miley Cyrus just revealed a strange dislike that most people never think about.
During his appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” On Thursday, the singer opened up about a surprising fear that makes the holiday season especially uncomfortable for her: She can’t stand anything that has to do with paper.
“Christmas, I’m known as a bit of a Grinch because I have qualms about Christmas,” Cyrus said. “I hate paper.”
His confession came at an unfortunately perfect time: Kimmel had a stray piece of paper on his desk that instantly made Cyrus gag.
“The real problem for me with paper is when people have dry hands and they touch the paper and then it’s Christmas and it’s cold and everyone has dry hands and everyone touches the paper,” he said, still reacting at the thought of it.

His dislike is so deep that he avoids even the sweetest gesture.
“When someone sends me a lovely letter, I don’t even open it,” he said.
Cyrus added that she’s totally fine with text messages and emails — anything that doesn’t involve the dreaded material. He admitted that the problem is getting worse, telling Kimmel that “it’s getting worse” and that he may need an “intervention” because it’s starting to interfere with his daily life.
“If someone receives a box from Amazon, I’m sick, because cardboard is the worst of all,” she said. “It’s very dry and it has a package inside. That’s the best part, that’s why I really committed, because I just make my fiancé open all the packages outside.”
But there is an exception.

“Here’s the thing, wax paper, anything that has a smooth surface, is better,” he explained.
When Kimmel asked her how she manages to read, Cyrus had an immediate response.
“I was very happy when they had a Kindle, when the Kindle was invented,” he said. “That solved a lot of problems for me.”
Earlier this week, Cyrus revealed her engagement to the musician. Max Morando – and said they were engaged on a recent trip to Japan.
“I’m not easy to surprise because I love to control every situation and I had completely given up,” Cyrus said. “I had never actually been to Japan, and I did it on purpose. I wanted a place in the world that could be my special place that I would keep to myself.”
