Amid rumors that Millie’s claim included “pages and pages of accusations,” fans dug up her past comments about how she and David got “mad” at each other while filming the Netflix show and expressed their feelings “on and off set.”

While the duo quickly formed a united front in the premiere of Stranger Things’ fifth season, Variety soon claimed that an investigation had been conducted following a complaint filed by Millie.

When asked why it was “important” that she and David seemed close amid reports of a feud, Millie said, “We’ve been doing that for the last 10 years. I mean, we’ve always been close on that. We love this show with everything and we value our friendship more than anything.”

Millie also said it was “really nice” to be able to “get back together” with David to film the final season of Stranger Things.

“It was pretty nostalgic because it reminded me a lot of seasons 2 and 3, where we both go against each other and she’s growing up, she’s trying to find her own voice and he’s trying to be a father, and that dynamic definitely comes into play once again, and I’m really excited for people to see that,” she said, speaking of her on-screen characters Eleven and Jim Hopper.
