Musk asks for a zero tariff situation between the US and Europe, the Trump advisor hit
The CEO of Tech, Elon Musk, which has remained relatively quiet about the tariff policy of President Donald Trump, said Saturday that he hopes to see a “free trade zone” between the United States and Europe.
“At the end of the day, I hope it is remembered that both Europe and the United States should move ideally, in my opinion, to a situation of zero tariffs, effectively creating a free trade zone between Europe and North America,” Musk told the Italian prime minister of the extreme right Matteo Salvini in a virtual event.

Musk’s comment occurred days after Trump announced a 10% rate of the blanket for imports entering the US. UU. From all countries and a more severe rate of 20% on those of the European Union, including Italy.
“We will do everything possible to work for an agreement with the United States, with the aim of avoiding a commercial war that would inevitably weaken the West in favor of other world players,” Meloni said in a translated publication on Facebook.
Musk told Salvini that he wants to see greater labor mobility between the United States and Europe, stating: “If people want to work in Europe or who wish to work in North America, they should be allowed to do so in my opinion.”

“That has certainly been my advice to the president,” Musk said.
Musk, who has become a nearby advisor to Trump and defended the president’s agenda, had remained relatively quiet about tariffs until Saturday. However, the prices of the actions in their technology company, Tesla, have taken a drastic nose after the so -called “Liberation Day” of Trump.
In a series of responses on his social media site X, Musk criticized White House assistant Peter Navarro, a Harvard graduate who obtained a doctorate in economics and supported Trump’s tariff policies.
“A doctorate in Econom de Harvard is a bad thing, it is not good,” Musk wrote. “Results in the ego/brain >> 1 problem”.
Musk launched another swing in Navarro in a response to a user who defended the economist, publishing: “It is not shit.”
Another publication cited the conservative economist Thomas Sowell: “In all disaster throughout the history of the United States, there always seems to be a Harvard man in the middle of him.” Musk responded “yes.”
