The bots have gone rogue: Cybersecurity has been reshaped by the rapid rise of advanced artificial intelligence tools, and recent incidents show how quickly the threat landscape is changing.

TECHNICAL SOLUTION: Elon Musk said in a new interview that he believes artificial intelligence (AI)-powered robotics that drive increased productivity and production is the only way to address the more than $38 trillion national debt.

REALISTIC TECHNOLOGY: When Xpeng recently unveiled its Next Gen Iron humanoid, the robot glided across the stage in such a fluid motion that the crowd froze. Many spectators thought they had seen an actor in a suit. The clips spread online within hours, and people everywhere said the same thing: He looked too human to be a machine.

OPINION: TECHNOLOGICAL OLIGARCHY: After a resounding 99-1 defeat in the Senate earlier this year, Big Tech oligarchs are hard at work doing what they do best: trying to sneak a massive corporate donation into legislation that must be passed in the dead of night. This time, they are targeting the National Defense Authorization Act, a bill essential to our military and national security, as a vehicle for a decade-long amnesty against AI. Or another bill they have to pass, if the NDAA doesn’t work for them. Or even a legally questionable executive order, like your Hail Mary.

SPACE RACE: OpenAI CEO Sam Altman is reportedly looking to build, fund or buy a rocket company to possibly compete in the space race against his former rival Elon Musk.
