Nick Reiner reportedly interrupted comedian Bill Hader and other guests with bizarre questions at Conan O’Brien’s Christmas party on Saturday, leading to his dismissal. He has been accused of killing his parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner, hours later.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the younger Reiner, who had been introduced to Hader by his father earlier in the meeting, asked the former “Saturday Night Live” star: “What’s your name? What’s your last name? Are you famous?”

He continued asking the same questions to other guests at the A-list party and was eventually asked to leave, according to a WSJ source who was briefed on the interactions.

It’s unclear whether the behavior sparked the previously reported argument between Nick and his father at the party, in which the famous filmmaker was said to have reprimanded him for acting inappropriately.

Representatives for O’Brien and Hader did not immediately respond to a request for comment from News.

Nick Reiner, who has a history of addiction and mental health issues, has been charged with first-degree murder for the apparent knife attacks.

Meanwhile, the entertainment world is mourning the death of Rob Reiner, who went from TV comedy star on “All in the Family” to blockbuster director with hits like “When Harry Met Sally” and “Misery.”
