It didn’t take long for Nicki Minaj to react to Trevor Noah’s joke at the Grammy Awards about her recent support for President Donald Trump.

Noah, who hosted Sunday’s ceremony, noted Minaj’s absence from the event during his opening monologue.

“She’s still in the White House with Donald Trump discussing very important issues,” the former “Daily Show” host joked, adding that the president would probably brag about having a bigger “butt” than Minaj.

Not long after Noah’s monologue aired, Minaj responded to X.

“Trevor refuses to come out when everyone in the industry knows his boyfriend,” she wrote. “Allegedly.”

Minaj included a photo of herself wearing a hat with the slogan “Nicki was right about everything,” along with images of rapper Jay-Z with his wife, Beyoncé, and the late singer Aaliyah.

Minaj has received a total of 12 Grammy nominations throughout her career, but she was not among this year’s nominees.

Although the rapper has criticized Trump in the past, she has fully embraced the president’s MAGA agenda in recent months. Last week, she declared herself Trump’s “number one fan” while speaking at a Treasury Department summit. Days later, she appeared at the world premiere of “Melania: Twenty Days to History,” the controversial new documentary about first lady Melania Trump.

As evidenced by her attack on Noah, Minaj has also begun to adopt homophobic language and terminology as part of her rightward turn. Last week, he used an anti-LGBTQ+ slur in reference to independent journalist Don Lemon, who has been reporting on protests over Trump’s crackdown on immigration in Minneapolis. The former CNN anchor is gay and married to real estate agent Tim Malone.

Minaj, who has long enjoyed a large LGBTQ+ fan base, nonetheless doubled down on the insult after receiving criticism.

“I’m glad you guys are mad. You’re about to get angrier,” he wrote on X.
