The eldest son of the Princess of the Crown of Norway has been accused of multiple positions of rape, sexual aggression and body damage after a month investigation of a case that involved a number of “two -digit victims”, the Oslo police announced Friday.
Marius Borg Høiby, the son of the princess of the Mette-Marit crown and the stepson of the throne heir, the heir prince Haakon, has been under scrutiny since he was Repeatedly arrested in 2024 Amid accusations of violation and preliminary charges of body damage and criminal damage.
The Oslo Police lawyer, Andreas Kruszewski, said Høiby was cooperative during the police interrogation. He said the evidence in the case was extracted from sources that include text messages, testimonies of witnesses and police searches.

Høiby, 28, was born from a relationship before Mette-Marit marriage in 2001 with Haakon. She was raised next to her steps, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, 21, and Prince Sverre Magnus, 19, but does not have an official public role. According to Høiby’s defense lawyer, Petar Sekulic, his client previously lived with the royal family, but now lives in a nearby house.
The charges against Høiby include a violation case that involves sexual relations and two cases of rape without sexual relations, four cases of sexual assault and two cases of body damage, said Kruszewski at a press conference.
“I can’t go into more details about the number of victims in the case beyond confirming that it is a two -digit number,” he said.
Sekulic told The News in an email that Høiby was “taking the accusations very seriously, but does not recognize any irregularity in most cases, especially cases related to sexual abuse and violence.”

The Royal Palace did not immediately respond to a request sent by email from the AP that seeks comments.
Høiby is still free awaiting a possible trial and has the right to a presumption of innocence until a court rule the opposite.
