A son of the Princess of the Crown of Norway has been accused of 32 crimes, including four violations and several acts of violence and assault, a prosecutor said on Monday.

The four violations for which Hoiby is accused allegedly took place in 2018, 2023 and 2024, the last after police investigation began.

Hoiby has already admitted assault and vandalism in the August 2024 incident by which he was arrested.

“It is up to the courts to listen to this case and make a decision,” said the Royal Palace in a statement obtained by Reuters.

In a public statement 10 days after his arrest, he said he had acted “under the influence of alcohol and cocaine after an argument,” having suffered “mental problems” and fighting “for a long time with substance abuse.”
