The older brother of Oasis singers, Liam and Noel Gallagher, appeared Wednesday in a London court accused of sexual violation and aggression.
Paul Gallagher, 59, only spoke to confirm his name, age and direction, since he faced accusations of rape, coercive and controlling behavior and three positions of sexual assault.
He is also accused of two positions of threat to kill, as well as assault that leads to real bodily damage.

The alleged incidents took place between 2022 and 2024.
Paul Gallagher was released on bail and must appear again before court again on September 24.
His brothers are in the middle of an international meeting tour, acting together for the first time since Oasis separated in 2009.
The older brother, who has never been part of the Britpop band, was withdrawn as DJ at a subsequent Oasis party in Dublin earlier this month, local media reported.
