In an Instagram story published on Friday morning, Monwadim moneywho has been a “SNL” player for the past seven years, announced that he would leave the show of long -term sketches.

“The most difficult part of a great party is to know when to say good night,” Nwodim wrote. “But after seven unforgettable seasons, I have decided to leave SNL. I am immensely grateful to Lorne for the opportunity, with my castmates, writers and crew for their brilliance, support and friendship.”
She continued: “Week after week at that stage he taught me more than I could have imagined, and I will always take those memories (and that laugh) always.”
“Now invite me to your weddings please!” She concluded.

Nwodim’s announcement follows the departure of four other cast members who will not return for season 51.
These cast members include Heidi Gardner, Michael Longfellow, Emil Wakim and Devon Walker. Although Longfellow, Wakim and Walker were relatively new additions to the show, and did not receive a ton of screen time, Gardner and Nwodim have been accessories in the variety program for almost a decade.
And although Nwodim implied that he left in his own terms, Gardner has not publicly commented on his departure, leading rumors that she could have obtained the ax.
Nwodim has portrayed several loved ones in “SNL”, including the hilarious strange “Fear of Temecula”, whose love for overcooked fillets caused the host Pedro Pascal to break the character in a laughter attack in 2023.
Last season, Nwodim’s character “Weekend Update” “Mrs. Eggy”, a 50-year-old stand-up person, He went viral after he accidentally led members of the audience to curse on live television during a joke.
