Patriots earn praise with stormy uniform debut against Jets

The New England Patriots debuted their “Nor’easter” uniforms Thursday night as part of the NFL’s “Rivalries” program for their game against the New York Jets.

The Patriots wore “Storm Blue” jerseys with white helmets and pants.

There were six stars on the uniform to indicate six New England states and a unique “NE” logo on the shoulder of the uniform, with nautical letters and compass points.

The uniform had features that a fan couldn’t see with the naked eye. There was a hidden message inside the necklace. On red cloth, the words “We are all patriots” were sewn in white letters.

“At the center of the look is a deep storm blue base: rugged, weathered and weathered, like the coast after a windstorm,” an infographic on the Patriots’ website read. “The color reflects both the relentless power of nor’easters and the perseverance of the people who face them head-on.”

The new excavations were met with high praise on social media.

The weather in Newsborough, Massachusetts, was far from stormy. Actually, it was quite suitable for football. At the start of the game the sky was clear and the temperature was around 38 degrees. There was little chance of precipitation.
