A resurfaced video from 2015 shows reality show star Jose Duggar talking about his brother Josh Duggar sexual abuse scandal almost 11 years old before his own arrest on a charge of child abuse.

Joseph Duggar, now 31, was arrested in Arkansas, where he lives, on Wednesday and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior with a child under 12, according to an arrest affidavit from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Panama City, Florida. obtained by The News.

Tontitown, Arkansas, deputies told Bay County deputies that a 14-year-old girl told them that Joseph Duggar sexually abused her several times during a family trip to Panama City Beach when she was 9 years old.

The girl’s father said Joseph Duggar admitted the abuse to him this week in a private conversation and later in a phone call with a detective on the line.

The allegations against Joseph Duggar come nearly 11 years after it was revealed that his older brother Josh Duggar was being investigated for alleged sexual abuse.

Although no charges were filed against Josh Duggar at the time of the original news due to the statute of limitations, he was later found guilty of downloading and possessing child pornography in 2021. He is currently serving a sentence of more than 12 years at the Seagoville Federal Correctional Institution in Texas.
