A new Making America report is reported again by the Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his department blame child chronic disease to ultra processed foods, chronic stress, excessive prescription of medicines and environmental chemicals.

“There is something wrong, and we will not stop until we defeat the epidemic of chronic diseases,” said President Donald Trump on Thursday at an event that revealed the report: “And the United States, we will do it.”

Despite the broad and alarming statements of the report, so far, Trump’s second administration has taken a variety of steps that experts, according to experts, will make Americans less healthy. Trump’s “Great Beautiful Bill” would make millions of people lose their health insurance to help compensate for tax cuts, and the administration has tried to reduce billions of dollars in public health expenses, as well as subsidies for scientific research.

The 69 -page report also states that more than 40% of American children have at least a chronic health condition, child cancer rates have shot, more than 20% of children are obese and one in 31 children have autism.

Trump talked about the increase in autism diagnoses, claiming without evidence: “It has to be artificially induced, it must be.” Kennedy, who was sitting next to Trump during the Maha event, has been at the forefront of promoting autism conspiracy theories for years. Kennedy has falsely said that vaccines cause autism, and in April, he said he would identify the “environmental toxin” that he believes causes autism. Autism rates have grown in years, according to disease control and prevention centers, but health officials largely attribute that more diagnosed people, no more people who develop autism.

Maha’s report dedicates a complete section to vaccines, writing that since 1986, children have had to get more vaccines than ever and that parents “must be completely informed about the benefits and risks of vaccines.” The report also requires more clinical studies on vaccines.

The report also calls ultra processed foods, claiming that they are “damaging the health of American children.” Trump received an applause from the Maha event after he said that the administration is “eliminating eight of the most common artificial food dyes”, added that he finished “conflicts” in the Food and Drug Administration. In April, the Trump administration fired several FDA workers.

The report also states that government -financed food programs, such as the supplementary nutritional assistance program, or SNAP, are to blame for the bad eating habits of children.

“It is more likely that children who receive benefits from SNAP consume greater amounts of sugary drinks and processed meats compared to non -receptors eligible for admission,” says the report.

Environmental chemicals are also to blame for the poor health of children, says the report, such as PFA, which are a group of synthetic chemicals used in non -stick kitchen utensils and food containers; Microplastics and high levels of fluoride in the water, which the report stated to a lower IQ in children.

The report also states that electronic devices have led to loneliness, chronic stress and sleep deprivation.

“In parallel to the decrease in physical activity, young Americans face a deepened psychosocial crisis. This is marked by the increase in mental health disorders Sweetage deficits Significant chronic stress and generalized loneliness, all exacerbated by the widespread influence of technology,” reads the report.

In Thursday’s event, Trump ended up congratulating “Maha’s full movement” before Kennedy praised Trump in return. Kennedy called the Maha’s report a “call to action for common sense.”

“We have trusted too much in a contradictory investigation, ignored common sense or what some would call the mother’s intuition,” Kennedy said.
