Of course, the actor and his youngest son welcomed a hero of the Australian Band of Children.
They were given a serenade with the cover of “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” before the show in the middle of a bubble downpour. De Niro sang while Gia sat in her lap.
Pops, of course, posed for photos with clearly excited band members and was seen in videos that accepted their hugs and handshakes. Gia’s mother, Tiffany Chen, also appeared in some of the photos.
“It was an exciting to spend some time with the legendary Robert De Niro and his family before our concert here in New York City,” the Wiggles wrote on Instagram.
De Niro, 81, has seven children, aged between 2 and 53.
But he is new in the Wiggles scene.
“I didn’t know them until I started seeing them and my daughter loves to see them,” he said in February. “But it’s great!”
