According to reports, New York giants will begin Russell Wilson in the first preseason game of the team against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday at 1:00 pm at the highmark stadium.
It is not known how long Wilson will play, but it is also expected that the rookie field marshal Jaxson Dart play extended minutes, according to Northjersey.com and the record report.
Wilson, 36, signed a one -year agreement and $ 10.5 million with the team in the low season and was appointed the starting field marshal when the training camp began in July.

Wilson spent last season with the Pittsburgh Steelers and had a 6-5 record in 11 games with them. 10 times PRO Bowler completed 63.7% of its passes for 2,482 yards with 16 touchdowns and five interceptions last season.
Wilson was not the only field marshal that the giants signed in the free agency, since the team also brought Jameis Winston with a two -year contract. It is not clear how much game time Winston will receive against the Bills, with Wilson and Dart, it is expected to receive most snapshots with the first and second team.
Winston and Dart have competed for the work of Marshal of Backup Field throughout the training camp, and that competition will continue on Saturday.

Winston played in 12 games with the Cleveland Browns last year, including seven openings, and completed 61.1% of its passes for 2,121 yards with 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
Throughout his 10 -year career, Winston has not been afraid to put the ball in danger, since he has 154 TouchDowns of Carrera E 111 career interceptions.
Dart, last season with Ole Miss, led the SD as a percentage of completion (69.3%) and (4,279) yards with 29 touchdowns and six interceptions.

The giants renounced their second round of 2025 (No. 34 in general), their third round of 2025 (No. 99 in general) and their Third Round Selection 2026 in exchange for General Selection No. 25 of the Houston Texans to select Dart.
The preseason will be especially important for the development of Dart, because if Wilson plays well, Dart may not receive any game time during the regular season.
