According to the reports, Russia’s Minister of Transportation committed suicide only a few hours after being fired by President Vladimir Putin, according to the country’s state news agency, which cited the National Research Committee. According to the reports, a second senior official of the Ministry of Transportation died shortly after, for reasons that remain without being clear.
Roman Starovoy shot fatally in his car in Odintsovo, a city west of Moscow, according to a statement from the committee that was reported by the Tass news agency in Russia.

Shortly after Starovoy’s death was reported by the Russian media, a lower rank official whose work fell within the mandate of the Ministry of Transportation, Andrei Korneichuk, 42, died suddenly during a meeting.
In his office in eastern Moscow, Korneichuk, who was the deputy director of the Land Funds of the Federal Highway Agency, “rose abruptly during a meeting and fell dead,” according to the media, which is believed to be close.
“The doctors could not help him,” Shot added. The Russian newspaper Independiente Novaya Gazeta said that at least two other media linked to the Russian government had informed the same basic details.
