The Russian tennis star Andrey Rublev does not like the reasoning behind the $ 3,000 fine he received during his second round party in the US Open.
Rublev, in the 15th position in male singles, was fined for using foul language during his party against American Boyer.
But in the heat of the competition, Rublev does not feel that thousands should be docked due to his words.
“It depends on the situation,” he said, according to the New York Post, before winning his third round match in five sets on Saturday. “When you are talking with yourself in a bad way, it is my decision how I do it. You cannot, in my opinion, you cannot charge for this. If you talk to the referee or the referee with bad words, yes, like when you do it with someone or if you shout in all the courts, yes, obviously. But when you speak to yourself, it is your decision how you talk. It doesn’t matter if the arbitrator hears what I do not say for this.

Rublev added that “in all sports” it is a normal occurrence so that the expletives are said, especially “in crucial moments.”

“It’s sports. It’s life,” he continued. “The same with each person outside in life at crucial moments, at stressful moments. I don’t think we are saints and never say bad words in crucial moments. It’s the same … as I said if you’re doing it with someone or you’re doing it too openly, yes, but with yourself, it’s your decision how you talk.”
Rublev is not the only Russian who was fined this year at the US Open. Daniil Medvedev’s widely publicized pern in its first annoying round with Benjamin Bonzi resulted in a fine of $ 42,500.

Rublev, the godfather of the children of Medvedev, offered support to his compatriot after that incident reached the headlines.
“If you want to change and need help, many other friends and family who will help you,” Rublev said.
Rublev was able to knock Coleman Wong in an exciting third round of five sets on Saturday. Rublev lost the first set, 6-2, before taking the next two, 6-4, 6-3. Wong returned with a victory on the fourth set, 6-4, before Rublev took the fifth set, 6-3, to move forward in the tournament.
