The son of an Atlanta Falcons coach had a joke call to Shedeur Sanders during the NFL draft when the field marshal slipped from a first round projection to the fifth round.
Jax Ulbrich, son of the Falcons defensive coordinator, Jeff Ulbrich, published a statement in his Instagram account, apologizing to former Colorado Buffalo star.

“The Halcons of Atlanta did not tolerate this behavior and send our sincere apologies to Shedeur Sanders and his family, with whom we have been in contact to apologize, as well as facilitate an apology directly from Jax to the Sanders family.

Sanders was subjected to at least two joke calls during the draft.
The Browns finally selected Sanders with General Selection No. 144 of the Draft.

Sanders’ new chief coach Kevin Stefanski said that “people are stupid,” when asked about the joke call.
