Singer Jim Cornelison treats NFL fans to the epic performance of the national anthem before the Bears-Vikings game

The emotions were high for the final game of week 1 between the Chicago Bears and the Vakings of Minnesota in Soldier Field, and it was the singer of Anthem National who helped establish the tone.

Jim Cornelison, a dramatic tenor, usually sings “The Star-Spangled Banner” for sporting events in Chicago. On Monday night, he had fans encouraging his seats as soon as the song began.

NFL fans who tuned in “Monday Night Football” to see the confrontation between Caleb Williams and JJ McCarthy received an epic performance.

The 61 -year -old is a regular in Chicago Sporting Events. He has been the singer of the Bears National Anthem since 2010. He hits the ICE games for the Chicago Blackhawks since 2008 and has sung “back home in Indiana” before Indianapolis 500 since 2017.

Cornelison just as popular outside sports. He was part of the Lyric Opera Center For American Artists in Chicago and sang in some of the most popular opera houses in the world.

It is also at the Board of the Illinois Patriot Education Fund and the Honorary Squadron Commander of the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America.

At the end of the anthem, the military planes roared on the stadium and the football fans locked themselves for the first game of the year of Monday night.
