Tennis stars shock after the handshake that the game ends: ‘Nobody likes you’

Professional tennis players Maria Sakkari and Yulia Putintseva were seen in a blacked shock after their match at Bad Hicerg Open on Sunday.

Sakkari defeated Putintseva 7-5, 7-6 (6) to move on to the next round of the tennis tournament. When the two competitors reached the network, Putintseva hit Sakkari’s hand and could not make visual contact while walking towards the chair referee.

Sakkari began to be scared of Putintseva, and Putintseva responded with reverence. Sakkari did not seem to like what Putintseva said after that and approached his side to address the comment.

“Nobody likes you,” Sakkari was heard telling Putintseva in the transmission.

Sakkari went to the incident in his interview after the game after Putintseva walked to the locker room.

“I don’t think he invites me to have dinner for the rest of our lives, but I don’t care, to be honest,” he said, through Tennis.com. “I have very good friends, and I will go to dinner with them. Let me leave it here, and just say that I respect her as a player, but that’s all.”

Sakkari advanced to the 16 round and waits for his next opponent. The Greek star will have Wimbledon in mind while competing in this tournament. She has two career titles in her career and did it until the third round of Wimbledon four times, including 2024.

Putintseva, from Kazakhstan, has three individual titles in his career. He reached the fourth round of Wimbledon last year.
