Washington’s commanders will be without one of Jayden Daniels’s main weapons for the rest of the season.

The Austin Ekeler corridor broke on Thursday by Achilles at the end of the team’s defeat against the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau Field, confirmed a magnetic resonance according to multiple reports.

Ekeler, 30, went down in a play without contact while running a route. He wrinkled to the ground and was helped outside the field, since he could not put weight on his right leg before he was finally transported outside the field.

EKELER has started both games this season for the commanders, winning 43 yards in 14 hauls and catching five passes for 38 yards.

The NFL nine -year veteran is in his second season with the commanders after spending seven seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers. EKELER appeared in 12 games, starting six of them, last season.

He ran for 367 yards and four touchdowns while it was a valuable passes container for Daniels out of the field. Ekeler caught 35 passes for 366 yards.

The commanders will resort to Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Jeremy Mcnichols of the Seventh Round of the Round and Jeremy Mcnichols. Croskey-Merritt, 24, is 14 haunts for 99 yards and a touchdown through the first two games of the commanders season. McNichols, 29, has four haules for 25 yards in the same period.

The defensive wing of the commanders ofatrich Wise Jr. will also miss the rest of the season after undergoing quadriceps surgery. Wise was injured while trying to block an extra attempt in the first half.

The commanders will seek to recover from their loss against the Packers when they face the Las Vegas Raiders at home next week.
