Scott Adams, the creator of the workplace comic strip “Dilbert,” said he is now “paralyzed below the waist” amid his battle with advanced prostate cancer.

“Here’s the latest update,” he said in a Dec. 13 video. “I’m paralyzed below the waist in the sense that I can’t move any muscles. I have sensation; I just can’t move any muscles. And the solution as of today is that we’re going to take me by ambulance to a center for radiation, and they’re going to try to irradiate that pesky tumor that’s around my spine.”

He continued: “If all goes well and I get more tumors than good things, I might get…some strength back in my lower body. That’s the hope.”

A host of publications carrying Adams’ “Dilbert,” his office set released in 1989 featuring the average nerd of the same name, dropped his strip in 2023 after he said black people were members of a “hate group.”

He then declared: “The best advice I would give to white people is to stay away from black people.”
