The man arrested after the burning forces of Pennsylvania, Governor Shapiro and the family to flee the mansion
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (AP) – A man was arrested and will face positions that include attempt at murder, terrorism and fire attempt in a morning fire that seriously damaged the mansion of the governor of Pennsylvania and the forced governor Josh Shapiro, his family and guests to escape quickly, the authorities said Sunday.
Shapiro said that he, his wife, his four children, two dogs and another family who had celebrated the Jewish Easter party with his family at residence on Saturday were awakened by state soldiers at 2 in the morning, they were evacuated and the fire was extinguished, the authorities said. No one was injured.
The state of the state police of Pennsylvania, Christopher Paris, identified the man in custody as Cody Balmer, 38, of Harrisburg. Paris emphasized a press conference on Sunday afternoon that the investigation continues.

Daushin County District Prosecutor, Francis Chardo, said the next positions will include attempt at murder, terrorism, fire attempt and aggravated assault.
The authorities said that the suspect jumped on a fence that surrounded the property and forcibly entered the residence before burning it. The attached police commissioner George Bivens said the suspect had a homemade incendiary device and evaded the police that he knew there had been a rape. Bivens said the attack seemed to have been carefully planned.
Bivens said Balmer was later arrested in the area.
The Harrisburg Fire Office was called to the residence and, while working to turn off the fire, the police evacuated Shapiro and the others, said the governor.

Shapiro said the fire settled in the room where families celebrated Easter with a Seder on Saturday night.
“I am obviously excited,” Shapiro said. “When we were in the state dining room last night, we told the history of Easter” and the history of the Jewish exodus of slavery, he said. “I refuse to get caught by slavery that someone tried to put me attacking us as they did last night.”
The State Police did not give other details about the cause of the fire in the Susquehanna River mansion, but said it caused a “significant amount of damage” to a part of the residence. Shapiro and his family had been sleeping in a different part of the residence, police said.
Shapiro, seen as a potential for the White House for the Democratic Party in 2028, said he had received aid promises from the Department of Justice, the FBI and the Office of the United States Prosecutor, as well as numerous messages of support from other governors and others.

On Sunday, fire damage was visible on the southern side of the residence, mainly to a large room that is often used to entertain crowds and art exhibitions. The large west oriented windows were completely who lacked their glass panels and the doors stopped in the middle of carbonization signs.
There was a police presence when the yellow tape cordoned off a alley, the investigators observed the damage inside and an officer took a dog out of an iron security before the investigators took it off from the top of the security fence on the southern side of the residence. They wrapped it in heavy black plastic and took him in a vehicle.

Shapiro divides his time between the mansion that has housed governors since it was built in the 1960s and a house in Abington, about 100 miles (160 kilometers) to the east. He published a photograph on social networks on Saturday of the family Seder of the family at residence.
The former governor of Pennsylvania, Mark Schweiker, a Republican, described the attack as a “despicable cowardice act” and said he hoped that the Pennsilvanians join him and his wife to keep the Shapiros in their prayers.
Former Governor Tom Ridge, also a Republican, said that the images of the damage to the residence where he lived for eight years with his family were “heartbreaking” and said that the attack on the official residence was shocking.
