The details reported on the arrest by Dui by Mary Lou Rateton earlier this month have emerged.

According to the reports, Fairmont police in West Virginia arrested the gold medalist on May 17 after a report on a person in a Porsche who drove “all over the road.”

Retton, 57, rejected a breath test on the road and a blood test. It was released from custody after paying a personal recognition bonus of $ 1,500.

Retton was nicknamed “America’s Sweetheart” during his winning performance of the gold medal at the 1984 summer games in Los Angeles.
