The most amazing looks from the Vanity Fair 2026 Oscars party
After the curtain closed on the Oscars, Hollywood still had a lot to celebrate.
For years, the hottest post-awards activity has been the Vanity Fair Oscars party, where winners, contenders and other celebrities sip champagne and socialize all night. The evening, held this year at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, also offered Academy Awards attendees the chance to ditch their formal wear and wear something a little more daring for the second leg of the evening.
After presenting Best Picture with her “Moulin Rouge” co-star Ewan McGregor, actress Nicole Kidman swapped her feathery nude dress for textured gold couture.
Kim Kardashian didn’t attend the main event, but embraced the Oscars glow in a sparkling long-sleeved Gucci dress with sky-high platform heels. (Her little sister, Kylie Jenner, got a seat at the Dolby Theatre, where she was Best Actor nominee Timothée Chalamet’s date.)
Pop star Dua Lipa shined in a halter-neck Schiaparelli dress with a cascade of chains down the front.
Zoe Saldaña, host of this year’s ceremony and last year’s winner for Best Supporting Actress, opted for a short and sweet look in a blue lace minidress with silver heels.
Legendary actress and activist Jane Fonda paired brown sequins and jewelry with a pin that read “Stop the Merger,” a nod to media megacorporation Paramount Skydance’s attempt to consolidate the entertainment world with its impending purchase of Warner Bros. Discovery.
