The rapper wonders why he was only arrested after his house was attacked by thieves
The Glorilla rapper wants to know why he ended up being arrested after someone tried to enter his home in Georgia last weekend.
The Grammy nominated, whose full name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, voluntarily delivered to the Forsyth County prison on Tuesday to face drug charges for serious crimes after the authorities that investigated a robbery in their residence allegedly discovered marijuana and another substance inside.
After Thursday’s reports about his voluntary surrender, Woods approached the circumstances that led to the charges in an X publication.
“CRAZY[!!] My house came home invaded on Saturday while I was in Indianapolis acting for the WNBA stars game and instead of focusing on finding the suspects, they focus on some cannabis, ”he wrote.
Facing the wrong information that could have been spinning, Woods added: “1. So I was not arrested 2. My house was stolen 3. I was not at home.”
“Long history in summary, my house gets home invaded and I am the only one that is arrested. So that is tea,” he continued, adding a shoulder emoji at the end.

According to a statement from the Sheriff’s office of Forsyth County detailed by People magazine on Thursday, the authorities were called to Woods’ house for “theft in progress” in the early hours of the morning of Sunday, July 20.
The police account confirmed that the rapper was not present at the time of the incident, during which three suspects allegedly entered his house and “were in the process of stealing articles when an armed occupant shot the intruders.”
The authorities report that none of the occupants of the house were injured and that the suspects fled the scene without seeming to have been hit by shots.
Police said after not being able to locate the suspects who proceeded to initiate “an exhaustive investigation” of the crime scene.
“While they were on stage, the agents detected a strong smell consistent with illegal narcotics. As a result, the Lanier regional drug task force was contacted and responded to the residence,” the statement said.

Then a search warrant was obtained, supposedly carrying the authorities to “a significant amount of marijuana” “in the home bedroom closet.
Based on the discovery, Woods was accused of possession of marijuana and possession of [a Schedule 1] controlled substance. It was released with a bail of $ 22,260 after its voluntary surrender.
While the authorities told people that the robbery investigation remains “active and continuous”, Forsyth County Sheriff, Ron Freeman, said his department must still “defend and enforce the law” in regard to “all aspects” of the case.
