As the public evaluates the United States Air attacks It is from Iran Nuclear facilitiesat least three things are at stake.
One, there is a large bipartisan vision that any Iranian nuclear weapon would represent a threat to the United States in second place, there are bipartisan concerns that the United States could get involved in a broader war with Iran. And third, there are different perceptions of how effective strikes Finally, it will prove to be.
Amid the Republicans, including Maga Republicans, who overwhelmingly retreat air attacks, and understand most of those who do it. However, for the rest of the public, and the reduction of the majority in general, there is disapproval of these air attacks and even greater concern for a possible broader war.
In the future, the nation is divided by whether confidence in the management of the situation by the Trump administration (here again, the Republicans do not) and about whether the strikes will really do that they will develop a weapon.
Then, as Congress returns to the session, the two considerable thirds of the country say that President Trump needs Congress authorization Perform military actions against Iran.

The concern that the United States possibly get involved in a broader war with Iran covered partisan lines. However, for most Republicans, there are relatively less concern.
The survey was carried out mainly before the reports on a high fire between Iran and Israel.

Republicans show overwhelming confidence in the management of the administration situation with Iran, which gets into the nation that is divided in general.

A great two thirds say that Trump needs the approval of Congress for action against Iran. That includes a third of Republicans. However, Maga Republicans, in particular, are more likely than other Republicans to say that Mr. Trump does not need the approval of Congress for action against Iran.

At this time, Maga is not more concerned about a wider war than Republicans in general.
The majority of Americans believe they will probably try to launch attacks against the US. OR their interests now instead of negotiating. (A survey was conducted while Iran launched Missiles towards an American base in Qatar. And was completed mainly before the reports of a high fire between Israel and Iran).
Most likely, people think they will try to attack the United States now (instead of negotiating), more concerned they are for a broader war.

The great majorities would see the possibility that Iran have a nuclear weapon as a threat, both for the United States and Israel.
Much of this, beyond partisanship, also focuses on opinions on effectiveness: if they will now be less likely to develop a nuclear weapon.

Meanwhile, in the front of the house, the perceptions of the US economy remain bad in the eyes of the majority, as they have done for years, and most say that prices are still rising. Even when current qualifications remain stable, the perspective remains negative in general. Little more than half of the country says that the economy is getting worse; A little more than half continues to think that next year it will bring at least one slowdown or recession. That feeling has not decreased in recent months.

This News themezone/Yougov survey was carried out with a national representative sample of 1,720 US adults interviewed between June 22 and 24, 2025.
