The tennis star’s fiancé plans to skip a tradition before their wedding

Paige Lorenze, businesswoman and fiancée of men’s tennis star Tommy Paul, said in a recent interview that she will not participate in at least one tradition before their wedding.
Lorenze and Paul got engaged in July, three years after the two went public with their relationship.
As the two begin planning their wedding, there is at least one thing Lorenze won’t be involved in.

She talked about it with People.
“When I got engaged, I had an engagement party, but I think there are a lot of bachelorette parties,” Lorenze told the magazine in an interview published Wednesday. “The wedding is a celebration. So my mom really wants me to have a bridal shower, but I don’t feel like I need one because there are so many things. There are the welcome drinks. There are so many things. So I guess there’s no bridal shower.”
