Thousands of people throughout the United States took to the streets on Saturday to protest President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk.
The “remote hands!” The manifestations are expected to be the greatest one -day protests since Trump entered the position. More than 500,000 people were recorded on Friday for more than 1,200 demonstrations in the 50 states. There were also demonstrations worldwide, even in London and Berlin.
Among the key issues for protesters are the ruinous Trump tariff policies that have seen the US economy tank in a matter of days and its dethlation of the Federal Work Force. Thousands of public officials in critical roles have been dismissed as part of the New Department of Government Efficiency of Musk.
“This day of mass mobilization is our message to the world that we do not consent to the destruction of our government and our economy for the benefit of Trump and its billionaire allies,” said a statement from the organizers of DC. “Together with Americans from all over the country, we are marching, gathering and protesting to demand a stop to chaos and build an opposition movement against the looting of our country.”
As the economy continues stomping and Americans express their anger with Trump, the president is spending the weekend in Florida competing in a golf tournament.
