“The Beast in Me” is currently one of Netflix’s most popular shows, according to the streamer’s public rating system.

The eight-episode mystery thriller centers on grieving author Aggie Wiggs (Claire Danes), who has retreated from the public eye following the death of her young son, now uninspired and unable to write.
