In what is expected to be a massive show of opposition to the brutal raids of immigration of President Donald Trump and other policies, multitudes of Americans are scheduled to occur in protests of “no kings” on Saturday in the 50 states in large and small communities.

The organizers of the event, which include indivisible, the American Union of Civil Liberties and 50501, say that there are about 2,000 demonstrations in the works the same day that Trump has organized a military parade in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States army, which falls into its 79th birthday.

“No Kings is a national day of challenge,” says a website for the event. “From blocks of the city to small villages, from court steps to community parks, we are taking measures to reject authoritarianism and show the world how democracy really looks.”

The Trump event is a “show destined to look like force. But real power is not organized in Washington. It rises anywhere else,” he continues, and adds: “We are not gathering to feed his ego. We are building a movement that leaves it behind.”

Trump dismissed the demonstrations in comments on Thursday.

“I don’t feel like a king. I have to go through hell to approve things,” he said from the White House, he added: “We are not a king at all, thank you very much.”

The protest website has an interactive map to help protesters to locate events, each of whom has an individual page with details about starting schedules and locations. In Wyoming, the redst state in the country, more than a dozen protests are planned.

People are asked to organize a protest in their area to use this tool game to register one, although there is a city that organizers have said they will not have protests: Washington, DC, the Trump military parade site.

“We are doing the center of gravity on June 14 everywhere where President Trump is not there,” said the organizers. “Then, instead of coming to DC to conflict with his military parade, we will be anywhere else to contrast against him.”

Philadelphia, which is expected to have one of the biggest protests, will organize a live broadcast of the event, said Leah Greenberg, co -founder of indivisible, to New York Times.

She did not say how many attendees were expected in the protests, but she said that the events had more RSVP than the huge “hands off” indivisible! The protests in April, which only in DC attracted approximately 100,000 people.

The protests occur when immigration agents and the application of Trump’s customs descend on immigrant communities throughout the country, rounding undocumented people in raids. The detainees include people who present themselves to the hearings of the Immigration Court and the young children seeking asylum.
