Tom Brady says he told NFL players to ‘relax’ over Logan Paul comments

Tom Brady suggested he needed to lower the temperature between NFL players and Logan Paul as the two traded barbs about athletics ahead of the Fanatics Flag Football Classic.
Brady appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday and talked about what football fans can expect from the upcoming game taking place Saturday at BMO Stadium. Paul is expected to play in the game along with iShowSpeed and Bud Crawford.

“They’re great athletes. Logan Paul isn’t really a great athlete. Just kidding!” Brady said with a smile. “Actually he is. I saw a backflip from him today. But he literally called up these NFL players and all these guys came to me, ‘I’m going to f*** off,’ and I was like, ‘Guys, chill out. We’re not going to commit any crimes against Logan Paul.’
The dispute began when Brady and Paul spoke during Super Bowl week in radio row before the Fanatics Flag Football Classic.
Brady and the WWE superstar had a conversation about the game.
“I’m actually a little worried about you. You’re a good athlete but you think… These guys are on another level,” Brady said of his NFL compatriots. “You don’t have the level. You’re a good athlete.”

“That’s nice. I love WWE. It’s very nice. But honestly, this is like real football. It’s real competition,” Brady added.
Paul later posted a video showing how high he can jump, comparing it to the way Barkley jumped over defenders during a Philadelphia Eagles game in 2024 on his way to a Super Bowl title.
Brady then called Paul a “bitch” while training with Rob Gronkowski, who will also play in the game.
Paul later went further and challenged any NFL player to a boxing match. He said he was willing to put a million dollars on the line. Former NFL star Le’Veon Bell was eager to challenge Paul, but any hopes of the YouTuber fighting an NFL player were apparently quickly dashed.

Paul addressed the possibility of a physical confrontation with Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl champion, saying, “I wouldn’t be surprised if I shake Tom Brady’s hand on the field.”
