Tracee Ellis Ross gave an emotional tribute to his “first television husband” after the tragic death of Malcolm-Jamal Warner.

On Monday, it was learned that Warner had died in Costa Rica for accidental drowning. The actor, Better known for his iconic role as Theo Huxtable in “The Cosby Show”, he was remembered by Ross as talent and talented and Moving presence that left an impact lasting both on and off the screen.

“I love you, Malcolm,” Ross wrote on an Instagram post on Monday. “First I met you as Theo with the rest of the world that you were my first television husband.”

The authorities in Costa Rica reported that they discovered the body of the actor on Sunday near the coastal city of Limón, after apparently swept by a strong ocean current. On Monday, People reported a statement from the judicial investigation agency detailing the actor’s last moments.

“The victim seems to have entered the sea and was apparently swept by a current,” said the statement. “The man was rescued by spectators and taken to the coast, where he received the treatment of the Costa Rica Red Cross. However, he was declared lifeless on the scene.”
