Trump alternative float after not being able to ensure the high agreement of Russia-Ukraine: the lives will be saved
President Donald Trump said on social networks on Saturday that a better agreement than “a simple fire” is in process with Vladimir Putin, hours after Trump’s high risk summit, with the Russian leader in Alaska failed to produce an agreement to stop the invasion of Ukraine of Russia.
Trump wrote during the night on his social platform of truth that the meeting had gone “very well.” A subsequent call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, “several European leaders” and NATO general secretary, former Dutch prime minister Mark Rutte, apparently did.
“It was determined by everything that the best way to put an end to the horrible war between Russia and Ukraine is to go directly to a peace agreement, which would end the war, and not a mere agreement in the fire, which often does not maintain,” Trump wrote shortly before 5 in the morning.
“President Zelenskyy will come to DC, the Oval office, Monday afternoon,” he continued. “If everything works, we will schedule a meeting with President Putin. Potentially, millions of people’s lives will be saved.”
Trump promised during his presidential campaign last year to end the Russia-Ukraine War on his first day back in office. He told reporters on Wednesday that Russia would face “very severe consequences” if Putin continued fighting after his next summit.
Trump launched a real red carpet on Friday to welcome Putin to Alaska. The Russian leader, accused in 2023 of war crimes by the International Criminal Court, made US sanctions against him renounce to legally land on US soil.
Trump told journalists after his meeting with Putin that his discussion had been fruitful.
“I think everyone wants to deal with us, we have become the most popular country anywhere in the world in a very short period of time,” he said. “We expect that, we hope … let’s try to end this, we really made great progress today.”

However, critics have noticed that Trump left Alaska with empty hands and that his failure to ensure a high fire was a victory for the leader of Russia. The official Democratic Party account in X wrote: “Trump invited a dictator to land of the United States only for his shit to shake.”
“A very successful day in Alaska!” Trump wrote on Saturday in his publication.

His cheerful celebration prior to dawn faced comments that he made only one day before. Trump told journalists aboard Air Force One on the flight to Alaska: “I want to see the fire quickly. I don’t know if it will be today, but I’m not going to be happy if it’s not today.”
