Behind Trump’s approach to offers during the Saudi visit
Washington – President Trump arrived in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, beginning a visit of three nations to the region and the first international trip of his second administration. Saudi Arabia is the first stop on a four -day trip to the Middle East for Mr. Trump, and was received in the asphalt at Riyader airport by the de facto ruler of the kingdom, Prince Coronero Mohammed Bin Salman.
The president and the heir prince were scheduled to hold private conversations about a wide range of issues, from dismantling Iran’s nuclear program to efforts to end the war in Gaza and keep oil prices controlled.
Trump also visited Saudi Arabia before any other nation during his first mandate in the White House, which exceeded the tradition for US presidents to make their first foreign trip to the United Kingdom.
“The last time I went to Saudi Arabia, they put $ 450 million,” Trump told reporters in March, while committed to visit again if there was another investment in US companies. In a call shortly after Trump assumed the position in January, the Saudi heir prince Mohammed Bin Salman promised to invest $ 600 billion in the United States over the next four years.

Saudi Arabia is of key diplomatic importance for Trump’s White House, especially amid the continuous efforts to negotiate an agreement with Iran on its nuclear program, and with the Israel-Hamas War It still enrages Gaza. The Trump administration also had conversations with Russia in the Saudi capital of Riad earlier this year on how to put an end to War in Ukraine.
But the visit is also expected to focus on business. Trump spoke at an investment conference in Miami in February sponsored by Saudi government entities, as the Trump organization has done. He tried to expand His real estate empire in Saudi Arabia, and the president seeks to strengthen ties with the Middle East partner.
Trump has also attracted some high-profile business leaders to Riad for an investment summit in the United States on Tuesday. The speakers will include Jensen Huang de Nvidia, Alex Karp de Palantir, Jane Fraser de Citigroup, Larry Fink of BlackRock, Jenny Johnson by Franklin Templeton Investments, Dara Kosrowshahi, Uber, Uber Khosrowshahi, BDT and MSD Partners’ Powell McCormick and Blackstone of Blackstone, according to the multiple multiple pairs.
Meanwhile, the White House has promoted the diplomatic opportunities of the trip.
“The president hopes to embark on his historical return to the Middle East, visiting Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates next week, where he will focus on strengthening the ties between our nations,” said White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt on Friday. “Eight years ago, President Trump’s first trip went to this same region in the world, where he introduced his bold foreign policy strategy through peace.”

The Trump administration negotiated a diplomatic advance during its first mandate that normalized relations between Israel and several Arab states, known as Abraham’s agreements. Eight years later, as the administration has become the goal of expanding the agreement, Leavitt said that Trump is returning to the region to “emphasize his continuous vision of a proud, prosperous and successful medium, where the United States and the nations of the Middle East are in cooperative relations, and where extremism is defeated instead of trade and cultural exchanges.”
“This trip finally highlights how we stand on the edge of the Golden Age for both the United States and in the Middle East, united by a shared vision of stability, opportunity and mutual respect,” Leavitt added.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio will accompany the president in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, said the State Department, where “they will seek to strengthen ties between the United States and the gulf members.” The Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegesh, will also join the president on the trip of the Middle East, said a Pentagon spokesman. And Mr. Trump is expected to visit with US military personnel at the United States Air Base in Qatar, Leavitt said.
Trump is not expected to visit Israel during the trip, in a change of his first mandate.
Meanwhile, the royal family of Qatar is donating a Jet Jet for the exclusive use of President Trump As presidential plane, sources told News themezone. The plane will be donated to Trump’s future presidential library shortly before leaving office.
