Trump believes that at least deserves a

President Donald Trump expressed his disappointment on Sunday that no one thanked him for sending money to go to food aid for Gaza, since the Palestinians continue to die every day, either by hunger or for Israeli shootings in help sites backed by the United States.

Appearing in Scotland together with the president of the EU Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, Trump was asked if Israel should do more to get enough help in the Palestinian territory that has almost flatten. The president responded with a strange complaint.

“We gave $ 60 million two weeks ago for food for Gaza, and nobody recognized it, nobody talks about it. And it makes you feel a little bad when you do that, and you know, you have other countries that give nothing,” he said, later specifying European countries.

“No one said: ‘Gee, thank you very much,'” he continued. “And it would be good to have at least thanks.”

The president did not specifically say where the $ 60 million came to which he referred to who was sent. Reuters reported last month that the State Department approved $ 30 million for the controversial Humanitarian Foundation of Gaza. The aid groups, the legislators and the United Nations have condemned GHF for bringing families to families to the food distribution sites only for American Israeli soldiers and mercenaries to open fire against the crowds.

Presumably, none of the other Trump countries refers to financially support GHF, although they do finance the UN agency, GHF is trying to replace. The EU and other European governments also substantially donate to the World Food Program and other help groups. “We are giving a lot of money and a lot of food and much of everything,” he continued. “If we weren’t there, I think people would have starved, frankly. They would have starved in hunger. And it’s not as if they were eating well.”

The Palestinians are already hungry, because both bombs destroy the territory, as well as the restrictions of mass aid of Israel, which states that they are due to the robberies of Hamas. Trump repeated the same claim on Sunday, despite a report by New York Times, a day before, revealing that Israeli military officers have no evidence that Hamas militants stole routinely help.

Trump said he spoke during the weekend to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who said the military will continue to fight in Gaza during the pause.
