Trump is increasing his war with the press while demanding praise of the media
President Donald Trump has been intensifying his war with the media, allowing the members of his administration to turn to hit a journalist, denying journalists access to the Oval office and asking that the networks be punished.
In her last installment, Trump lashed out at the correspondent of the White House of CNN, Kaitlan Collins, before she could finish asking her a question on Monday.
“Let’s listen to the question of this very low anchor in CNN,” Trump told Collins, who then asked if his administration would comply with the order of the Supreme Court of bringing back to Kilmar Abrego García, Maryland’s man deported by mistake to prison in El Salvador.
“How long do we have to answer this question?” Trump spit to Collins, cutting her. “Why don’t you say, ‘Isn’t it wonderful that we are keeping criminals outside our country?’
Collins: You said that if the Supreme Court said that if someone needed to be returned, it would comply with that

Trump’s reaction to Collins was only his last instance demanding a positive coverage of the media. On Sunday night, he published on the social networks that News must “pay a great price” for talking about him “in a derogatory and defamatory way” in “60 minutes” and asked the president of the Federal Communications Commission, Brendan Carr, to include the network with fines and punishments “for their illegal and illegal behavior.”
Carr has already launched research on the NPR and PBS member stations, saying that “they could be violating federal law by transmitting commercials.” Carr could potentially take reprisals against News delaying or blocking a fusion between his parent company, Global Paramount and Skydance Media.
During Monday’s press group, Trump also gave other members of his administration the opportunity to scold Collins. Stephen Miller, deputy director of the White House personnel for politics, had the toughest words.
“This is an illegal foreigner from El Salvador, so with respect to you, he is a citizen of El Salvador. Therefore, he is very arrogant, even for the US media, suggesting that we would even tell El Salvador how to drive his own citizens,” Miller said before saying to Collins that he should be afraid of Abrego García, who lived in the United States for approximately 14 years before being expelled.

Abrego García is “a member of MS-13,” Miller said: “What, I am sure you understand, violates girls, murders women, boys, boys, dedicated to most of the world’s barbarian activities. And I can promise him that if he were your neighbor, you would move immediately.”
Abrego García has played the Trump administration claims that he is a member of the MS-13 gang. He has never been accused of any crime related to participation in the gang.
The Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, supported Miller, saying: “I do not understand what confusion is”, in response to Collins’ questions.

Trump also seemed to challenge a federal court order on Monday to continue taking reprisals against The News, which fueled Trump’s anger with his editorial policy around him renouncing the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America.
“Despite a court order, a reporter and photographer of News was prohibited on Monday of a press conference from the Oval Office with President Donald Trump and his counterpart of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele,” the cable service reported, noting that the Federal Court’s decision that prohibits Trump to punish the AP on the matter.
“We hope that the White House will restore the participation of AP in the [White House press] Pool as of today, as provided in the court order, ”said AP spokeswoman, Lauren Easton, in a statement.
