Trump makes most Trump, asks after receiving a World Cup trophy.
President Donald Trump made a registered request from Trumpian after being able to hold the FIFA World Cup trophy at the White House.
The president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, delivered the Golden Award to Trump during an Oval office presser on Friday announcing the draw date of December 5 for the 2026 football tournament, which will be organized by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
“It is the trophy that the winner of the FIFA World Cup wins,” Infantino told Trump in a way that some users of the social networks made fun of “only the president of the FIFA, the presidents of the countries and then those who win can touch it, because this is only for winners. And as you are a winner, of course, you can touch it. It is quite heavy.”
“Can I keep it?” Trump asked, before joking that “we are not returning it.”

“It is going very well on the wall right there. We will put it just below the angels,” Trump added, referring to some of the decorations used to transform the oval office after his return to power.
Infantino laughed and replied: “I think it adapts well here, until we have to give it to the next winners.”
“That’s fine,” Trump said. “That is a beautiful piece of gold, I will say.”
