Donald Trump had a good feeling that he would be president again in 2024.

The president spoke openly about the moment he knew he was “going to win” while speaking at the McDonald’s Impact Summit in Washington, DC, on Monday.

Trump addressed the crowd saying it was “an honor to stand before you as the first former McDonald’s cook to become president of the United States.”

The president spoke about an Oct. 20, 2024, event in Pennsylvania where he “made fries” and served customers at a McDonald’s before the election.

“That line was long,” Trump said. He estimated that the line “had 25,000 people, so someone told them we were coming.”

“After I made the fries and did a few other things, I stood at the window and people were coming in, a little bored, to be fair, you know, it is, I mean, they’re waiting for a burger, okay?” said.

“When they arrive, they just look: ‘Wow!’ Each one of them. And it was fascinating. The response from each one of them was incredible,” Trump shared, before describing the crucial moment.

“Almost like I knew I was going to win when I saw that,” he said.

Trump would win the election a few days later, beating Democratic challenger Vice President Kamala Harris.
